EIS is good enough, it's not the best, but it's acceptable to me. If I want smoother video I'd get a gimbal or use a tripod.

Watchers, word to the wise. Turn the video quality to 1080p when watching this video. I was about to say hell no to the V30 looking at this video because the quality was completing unacceptable. Then I realized I had it on 240p. HUGE difference.

what if recording suddenly stops on u? how would u fix it so u can record for as long as want?

Both samples were pretty choppy, and not particularly impressive, but the "steady" recording was noticeably better.

I'm not sure why that first video center out so choppy on both scenarios but I'm getting inconsistency with Steady Record. As I've said I never use it on my V20 cause it's really just terrible but it appears at least sometimes you can get great results like the last walking test. Thanks for taking me up on my suggestion.

For how much they advertise this phone as great for video, I'm really disappointed in what I'm seeing. Although the stabilized shots look smoother, they also make me feel kind of dizzy. Makes it look like the quality is much lower too, as if I'm watching it after a layer of static has been added.
