Plattenbau - Cloaking Love (Official Video)

On the video for their new single “Cloaking Love,” Berlin anti-punk art-heroes Plattenbau crack out over a frenzied powerpop romp hotter than a warped Joy Division cassette baking on the dashboard of a ’92 Chevy Beretta. Anxious bass and drum action melts into a post-punk dream state stalked by Lewis Lloyd’s (vocals/synth) grim cinematic vision. Plattenbau plays witness to the death of ideology—death by audio.
