NEWS CONCERNING THE RAPTURE! The beheaded christians from revelation 20: 4-5 have gone through the great tribulation and take part in the first resurrection. In the rapture of 1 Thessalonians 4: 16-17 the dead in Christ will rise first, before the living will be caught up together with them. This means that the rapture can not be before the tribulation!

I don't always agree with Anderson, but I do agree with him about the 2nd coming of Christ and our being gathered to Him. It will not happen until there is a falling away and the anti-Christ is revealed.  2 Thess. 2.  It's as plain as the nose on your face.

There we have it.

Thank you so much finally somebody that agrees with me. The Bible clearly states it’s the same event. Christ only descends one time. It’s not seven years before!! I get so flustered whenever everybody thinks it’s two separate events the Bible does not say that. People are conditioned to just repeat what they’re taught. And they’re taught incorrectly. It’s so sad that people cannot simply read what the Bible says.

Matthew 24 and
1Thessalonians 4-5 and
Revelation 20:1-6 match also. There is no resurrection before Revelation 20. Therefore, there can't be a rapture before Revelation 20 either.
Why? because the first resurrection is the one and only resurrection of the dead in Christ and all old testament believers and the tribulation beheaded church. All who belong to Jesus rise in the first resurrection according to Revelation 20 and 1Corinthians 15:52. Then the Rapture happens a second after it.

Even Jesus said that everyone who the Father gave to him, he would raise them up on the last day.
That proves that All who belong to Jesus will rise in one resurrection on the last day, then the rapture will follow.
Not during the tribulation. But after it.
See?
it's all one event.
The rest of the dead don't rise until the millennium is over.
oh and this doesn't happen during the tribulation as Anderson lies about.
It all happens after the tribulation as Jesus said in Matthew 24.

Beautifully explained Pastor !! One verse I always use in my explanation of why the rapture is the second coming is Heb. 9:27, 28. Paul taught one second coming. Paul received his doctorate of theology straight from Jesus (Gal 1:11, 12). I don't think it is Paul who is confused as to how many times the Lord comes for His saints. Feel free to use this statement in future teachings lol.

the rapture and second coming are two different events. rapture happens before the great trib and the second coming happens after the tribulation. read revelations 19:11 they're clearly 2 different events. thats not what man taught me thats the word my friend.

Both sides are arguing that the other side has been deceived.

As long as we agree on salvation, I too am slow to divide over rapture timing. I still will preach post trib pre-wrath, and will try to persuade a fellow Christian that that's the truth, but still as long as a person believes right on salvation that's what matters the most in eternity.

The Rapture is described as occurring at any time without warning.
Jesus stated in Matthew 24:42, 44 to "Therefore keep watch, because you do not know on what day your Lord will come... So you also must be ready, because the Son of Man will come at an hour when you do not expect him." Not only do believers in Christ not know when to expect Him, but the Father Himself seems to have left Jesus out on the exact time His Son is to return. As Jesus stated in Matthew 24:36, "No one knows about that day or hour, not even the angels in heaven, nor the Son, but only the Father." These and other verses (Mat. 24:36, 42, 44, 50; 25:13; 1 Thes. 4:18; Tit. 2:13; 1 Jn. 2:28; 3:2-3) indicate that Jesus' arrival will come when nobody expects it.
The Second Coming, on the other hand, is preceded by many events, such as the rise of the Antichrist (Rev. 12:13-17; Zech; 13:7-9), a treaty with Israel (Dan. 9:27), the rebuilding of the Jewish Temple (Mat. 24:15; 2 Thess. 2:3-4; Rev. 11:1-2), as well as plagues and judgments and persecutions destroying most of the world's population (Rev. 6-18). The Book of Revelation reports these events as occurring during the 7-year Tribulation, which Revelation reveals precede the Second Coming.
Because the Rapture could happen at any moment and without warning and the Second Coming is preceded by so many signs, then the Rapture and Second Coming must be different events. The Rapture has to occur before the seven years' worth of signs, because Christians are called to look for the Lord's return rather than signs such as the Antichrist's arrival. Once the signs begin, then the seven year countdown begins towards its end with Christ's return at the Second Coming.
Jesus' imminent return dismisses any of the other viewpoints related to a rapture that occur within or at the end of the Tribulation.

how can the virgins go and buy oil for their lamps if it is at the end of tribulation ? They would not have taken the mark of the beast so they would not be able to buy oil .

Jesus said he would come when it is like the days of Noah (unbelievers are not worried) in Luke 17 and everybody is freaked out in Luke 21. In Luke 17 there is flash of light, and then there are dead bodies. In Luke 21 everybody can see him coming to earth, there is a madman that has desecrated temple, and the sun, moon and stars go dark. That looks like two different events to me.

How can the rapture be a second coming when it is not a coming at all? Rapture implies something leaving NOT COMING. The Rapture is an ending (of the church dispensation), and the coming of the Lord is the start of something new. Hence, the coming of the Lord is called an Advent. The coming of the Lord is always a reference to the Lord coming physically to the earth as in Matthew 24 and 25. Anderson, who is a really intelligent guy, makes a real mess out of the bible.

Matthew 25:44-46
Then they too will answer with the words: ‘Lord, when did we see you hungry or thirsty or a stranger or naked or sick or in prison and did not minister to you?’ Then he will answer them, saying: ‘Truly I say to you, to the extent that you did not do it to one of these least ones, you did not do it to me.’ These will depart into everlasting cutting-off, but the righteous ones into everlasting life.

  Question

If        in Thes "meet Him in the air" is talking about a greeting party for a dignitary,
the beast has "power over the saints to kill them",
the Great and Terrible Day of The Lord is one day,
and the great mystery babylon is destroyed in one

Then   what is all this 7 year trib/rapture stuff?

2Ti 2:15 Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needes not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.
