2019 CT6-V 4.2L Blackwing TT cold start fast idle mjdart

The 4.2L TT V8 Cadillac Blackwing goes into a cold start fast idle for about 30 seconds and begins warming engine very quickly. It's best to wait until complete, because this engine has so much torque it will launch the car if the idle is still high.

I still feel sad that GM killed the Blackwing engine. Such a powerhouse deserved to live on for many more years.
With that said, even if maintenance would be a nightmare compared to the LS platform, 10/10 I'd take a CT6-V over a CT5-V Blackwing.

Hey, those chrome wheels or chrome plated are wonderful, so much so that I've checked Cadillac Accessories on line to no avail!!! They had the 10 spoke ones that were chrome plated for $550. So, exactly are yours??? They really make your car stand out. If you don't mind, let me know what Cadillac dealer you purchased them from or better yet, give me the stock number for them. What did you do with your stocked 20 spokes ones. Get back to me, thanks!!!

Why did Cadillac remove the laurel wreath from around the logo? Now it looks like crap. It's ugly. It looks like Celica from the side and a Honda Civic from the front. It looks like shit!
