Hank Thompson and his Brazos Valley Boys play a medley. One verse from the tune "Humpty Dumpty Heart" and one from "Green Light".

This is from "The Jimmy Dean Show". The date of this performance is likely between 1963 and 1966.

I wore out an 8 track tape in 1968 of Hank. I always wanted to be a DJ so BJ the DJ was my favorite song of his. I retired from Shell Oil co instead.

Hank Thompson, what a talent, and he can rip on the guitar.

Not many guests of Jimmy Dean were tall enough to look him straight in the eyes.
What a great singer, songwriter, and especially a fantastic guitarist Hank was.
Most definitely a musical genius.

This was on the morning Jimmy Dean show in D. C.. about 1058.  I was in Alexandria VA and was watching the show where he was supposed to be there a week.  On the second day, Hank came back with a broken arm.  Billy Grammar played Hanks blond super 400 for the rest of the week.

Bert Rivera on steel. The Brazos Valley Boys were a great band. IMO, followed by "The Wagonmasters" with Buck Trent on electric banjo, followed by "The Buckaroos" with Buck Owens

That has to be a young
Junior Pruneda on bass guitar. No one else held it like that. Who is the steel player? Bob White? WC
