Someone I knew in Isla Vista had a Jimmy Reed album. It was played over & over. I love Jimmy Reed's music. I named my son Reed.

Perfect song to DRIVE, relaxedly, at just 40 or 50 miles per hour.

Jimmy Reed could find notes, sounds, and bends on that harmonica that no one else ever could! That was a genius...

This was classic blues ahead its time over WLAC, Nashville, that we dig at night time in the distant Costa Rica in the first half of the 1960s. Kind of our soundtrack of life. Thank you Jimmy.😺

When I was in the Navy back in the 60's in Charleston SC, Jimmy was a huge star. Not so in my backward Ohio. They wouldn't play black artists hardly at all. How sad... Glad that this white kid was educated while in the Navy in the South!

In 1968, when I was twelve, my mom bought a couple of LPs from the bargain bin at the grocery store. One of them was "I'm Jimmy Reed." I listened to it over and over wondering why it wasn't on the radio. Yup years later here I am with all these guitars, bass guitars and amps and still digging Jimmy Reed.

The 10 dislikes must be people that hate blues, or don't like music at all. If you don't like, don't listen and keep your comment to yourself. The rest of us are grooving and remembering easier days. RIP Jimmy Reed!

Regardless of it's simplicity, it's one of the best songs ever written. No doubt. It's burns and grooves, that melody is incredible.

High School in Georgia — we had a special dance style — the Stride — and we danced to Baby What You Me To Do — perfect. Great memories.
