Building and Flying Indoor Catapult Gliders

Building and Flying Indoor Catapult Gliders demonstrates the construction and flying of Elastic Launched Gliders that conform to the 2015 Science Olympiad event rules. The program is two hours in length, and provides detailed instructions for assembling models from a kit which is designed and sold by Stan Buddenbohm (kit not included), building a model from scratch, and a demonstration of the techniques used to adjust models for maximum flight performance. Plans for a simple scratch-built model are included. This video would also be a suitable instructional aid for anyone interested in flying AMA Standard Class Indoor Catapult Gliders. The program is narrated by NFFS Hall of Fame freeflighter, Bob Stalick, and NFFS Foundation member, Jack Shafer.
