Korea's #1 favorite take-out chinese food: Jajangmyeon noodles (Jjajangmyun). Daniel shows you how to make this Korean-Chinese noodles. In Seoul, we typically order delivery for this and it costs about $5.00. So we rarely consider making Jajangmyeon Noodles at home - given how cheap and accessible it is. However, when you are abroad and craving Jajangmyeon noodles ... who you gonna call? Daniel of course! Here he is and a simple to follow recipe to make it at home.

Totally off topic but the way you put "consider subscribing" rather than other phrases like "don't forget to subscribe" or anything else really makes me think that you must be a really nice person😃😃😊😊

Just extra tip for the Jajangmyeon lovers.
Add oyster sauce in the sauce which will make jajangmyeon taste like it is made from a restaurant.

Measure the oil first, then the black bean paste. It will slide right out of the measuring cup :)

YES!! This is one of my dad's favorite dishes that's nearly impossible to find in Texas. I'm definitely going to surprise him with this the next time I visit. Thank you very much for posting, Daniel!!

That looks frigging delicious. You made it look so easy to cook. I guess, jajangmyeon is the most popular fast food in Korea, that's what I have noticed in K- dramas and movies🤣 as aways, great content neighbour🙏

My mom always makes this on me and my sister's birthday alongside the seaweed soup. She makes them to wish us a good, long life. The longer the noodles, the longer the life. 🙂

Hey! Easy version here: (I made it back in school)

So for your meat: cut up sausage
Noodles: some cheap
Sauce: same way he made it
And done!
If you have some salad or cabbage in your fridge, you can add it.

Wow, never heard of jajangmyeon until saw your video. By first glance I wouldn't order it on a menu. After watching you make it my tummy grumbled! I'll let you know when make this. Lil tip: Put oil in pan first, then the raw poor man's caviar after and it will slip out of the cup easier. Mahalo neighbor!

I have been for this for several months. My “nearest” Korean market is 60+ miles away from my house. Getting the ingredients is easy until the paste part comes along. Your video was so simple to follow (I’m no chef Gordon Ramsay in the kitchen, so, simple is an answer to my prayers). I’m now a new subscriber to your channel and am happily licking my plate clean. Thank you for making my life happy again!!!

I love Korean food so much. As an Italian, Italian food will always be number one but I have to say Korean food tops the charts for any other cuisine I’ve tried . It’s so amazing 😍😍😍

BTS introduced me to Jjajangmyeon. I found a restaurant outside of Chicago that serves it and ordered it a couple of times but it's a 45 minute drive. Finally made some myself. Such an easy and delicious meal! Thank you!

for those wanting to buy this: look up “Jinmi Chunjang” or just “chunjang” so you don’t accidentally get chinese black bean sauce in the results

I'm an American and lived in Korea as an exchange student in the 80s. I still miss those Jajang delivery guys on their bikes. So glad you posted this recipe. This stuff is hard to get here in the states.

I had my son make this for us a few weeks ago. It was delicious! I plan on always having the noodles and bean paste on hand so that it can be one of our really quick meals that we always have the stuff for, like spaghetti.
