Why not just use Park Tool's own T-Handle hex wrench? That's long enough to reach too.

i think it would be better to learn to make my own tools in the long run, but Park Tools and Calvin inspire me to that end with the great tips and tutorials.

It annoys me how many people in the comments don't understand the purpose of this tool. Its for derailleur limits! even with a good hex key they can be a pain in the ass to adjust if your a professional working on bike after bike after bike. This makes it a lot easier to quickly spin them out and in with precision.

if it was half the length it might have "precision" , why not make it 1 meter or 2 meters long, is that the next ultraprecision version ?

Why not just use a non ball end t handle hex? Still the blue tool lovers will be overjoyed they can have more shiny, slightly pointless bling
