Things got really tense in the kitchen there for a moment. I was battling a lot with my own expectations and the perceived expectations of others in those moments.

I did not want to let you guys down! I did not want to let our friends and families down! I didn't want to let these judges down! I did not want to let Ronan down!! 😱

I wanted to live up to the extraordinary support and faith you have in us!

In that moment, especially because I had no idea if the other teams were struggling and I filled in the blanks with my own story of; “they're nailing it and I am the stupid one who doesn't know what this bake is.” AND I didn't know if it was even tasting okay let alone looking right 🤣

Continually trying to stay positive as things were not coming out great and desperately trying to make the puzzle pieces of clues we saw in the kitchen come together into something edible was a challenge! 😅🫠🤪💚💜

I worked myself up so much because I so desperately cared about it, you, them, everything!

Granted this is a competition for life-changing money, but it's a good reminder not every bake is! The perspective of why we bake and experiment is far more important!

The joy of sharing the joy! Of creating joy! Of trying something new! No matter how it turns out! The joy of learning and growing! The joy of improving!!
