The book of Ecclesiastes was written by Solomon, considered
the wisest man who ever lived. He observed and studied what
life would be like apart from God. Solomon had everything he
could ever want, including wealth, wisdom, and pleasure. He
tried to look for meaning and purpose in everything—as we all
do—and yet he came up with this: Apart from God, everything is
meaningless, futile and fleeting.

In this lesson, we will look at three
truths about life to help us understand the true reason for living as shared by Jackie.

ECCLESIASTES 1:1-2
1 The words of the Teacher, son of David, king in Jerusalem:
2 “Meaningless! Meaningless!” says the Teacher. “Utterly meaningless!
Everything is meaningless.”
