Someone forgot to mention the following: ChatGPT Plus, Team, and Enterprise users get early access to the new macOS desktop app via the ChatGPT account menu(opens in a new window). The macOS desktop app will be more broadly available in the coming weeks with Windows coming later this year

I have a feeling the audio option isn't available because Siri is going to be powered by GPT4o. Especially since they said its coming to the Mac app "in a few weeks" because WWDC is in a few weeks...

Don’t blame the AIs. Nobody can easily differentiate the iPhone 13 Pro from the 14 and 15.

5 Reasons to NOT download it yet. (Fixed in latest update)

1) Copy-paste hotkeys do not work. (FIXED)
2) Generated images aren't possible to open. (FIXED)
3) While GPT is typing, it uses 100% of the CPU, freezing the entire app, which makes it impossible to copy text while it is typing. (FIXED)
4) While it is lagging, the stop button leads to opening voice mode. (FIXED)
5) You can't zoom in or out. (FIXED)

The main downside so far is that you can’t use @ mentions of GPTs in chats on the desktop app yet 😕

The AI not being able to tell the difference between a iPhone 13, 14, and 15 pro I think is completely reasonable considering the ONLY difference is a SLIGHTLY larger camera bump from model to model.

If you can’t find the download link, login and you’ll see it if you click your profile icon. There will be a dropdown with the Mac OS download link. You need plus right now, free users coming soon.

If you are a ChatGPT Plus, Team, or Enterprise user, you can get early access to the new macOS desktop app via the ChatGPT account menu. I think its a good idea to figure out local opensource LLMs rather than allow openai onto your private machine
