Wait a proverbial minute! Did I detect that this new Everlast Typhoon TIG model also has that “strange” new “Cold TIG” feature, that’s kind of an autogenous pulsed-step-welding method of some kind? If so, please show us more!

Yeah, HTP does, but they don't have any extra waveforms. If you paid an extra $500 for the Miller Electric SD Media card for the Dynasty 210 and 280 (included on 350 and above, I believe), then you'd get A/C Amplitude Control too. But, I believe the latest Dynasty 210 no longer hobbles it for AC Amplitude Control or the extra Pulse range now, via the "DX" designation (it seems to be no more). So, Everlast has indirectly helped the Market and the Dynasty models in extinguishing that 50 cents worth of "proprietary" SD Card of computer code costing $500 extra. And these Typhoon models retained the Advanced Pulse (MIX TIG) feature that is on my 210EXT, which really does give tremendous added penetration per-amp on AC aluminum if you set it for 100% DC on half of the wave cycle, i.e., 1/2 DC TIG welding on aluminum (I think Fronius has it on their best units, and some other European units do too). So, these Typhoon units are the most-featured, advanced AC/DC TIG units on the North American Market, at about one-third the cost (preorder-intro price of about $2500) of a Miller Dynasty 210 CPS "bare tool" (about $6500, no torch, no pedal, no nada). And that's a shining anti-Inflationary example in the TIG welder unit marketplace. Thank You, Everlast, Thank You, China!

That's really the only reason I haven't bought a 210ext.
And the typhoon can stick weld on ac??
