my favorite boss would have to be jumbotron by far. its design is simple yet creative. it consists of 4 massive screens connected to this massive machine, each face having the basic droid faces. and on the bottom, it has a turret that it uses to attack. it has text just below the screens saying JUMBOTRON SEZ: GET REC'T. this gives it a funny yet menacing vibe to it. and the voice lines are peak perfection. the way how it says, "let the games begin" and "our contestants are here" gives it a feeling of it being in total control. like it was watching the entire time, calling in the robots, it almost feels like it's the one controlling the stage and props and all that. it's gameplay mechanics and boss fight is simple yet unique as well. instead of just acting like one simple enemy or multiple enemies with one weak point, it has 4 weak points and that require them to all be destroyed. it stays still the entire time up there while shooting at you from above and summoning its minions to attack. and the way it screams when a screen is destroyed expresses itself and how it actually feels the pain. but the best part...

The way the barrel dog mini boss opens is peak. Ominous eyes appear, then it’s followed by a beast of an animal charging at you from out of the darkness. Peak.
