Time for a facelift to the Audi R8, the 2013 edition features an improved look (such as new LED lights) and features the 7-Speed S-Tronic double clutch transmission.

marchettino, have you ever thought about getting a sportsbike? Most of the cars you film are really, REALLY expensive but when it comes to speed they are nothing compared to a 1 liter sportsbike. Not to mention that a sportbike that does 0-200 in just under 8 seconds only costs a fraction of a lets say ferrari.

why wouldn't you want it? that v8 is a masterpiece of an engine, originally used in the rs4. when jeremy clarkson tried the rs4 he praised that engine because it was so smooth. you also save yourself a quite a bit of cash over the v10

Marchettino - I love your vids and am a long time subscriber. I do disagree with you though...I think that if people have the money for the v10, they would get that. Getting the v8 in my opinion is like getting the boxter instead of the 911...with all do respect...I don't have the money for either though!

You can pick a second hand V8 up for a REALLY good price these days

To me, I'd choose the V8, but if I wanted the V10 version, I'd just buy a Lamborghini Gallardo

Realistically, the V8 is all you need unless you plan to hit the track every weekend

Seriously guys in reality the V8 version is just as cool as the V10 but more affordable if you are planning on saving up.

Despite what people seem to be replying, I highly doubt that ACTUAL BUYERS would generally want the V8 over the V10. Of course there are still the select few.

audi needs a faster r8 as an option. like somethin that does 0 to 60 in 3.3 or below and does like 205 or sumthin

the v8 is actually some what of a reasonable deal, the v10 not so much
