The "Butterfly Method" to me was known as "Cross Multiply"

I just use my fingers to multiply by 9, you but out both your hands then count the number you're multiplying by 9. The amount of fingers on the left is the tens and the fingers on the right are the ones

The temperature conversion equation presented in this video is wrong. It's not 30, but 32. So converting from Fahrenheit to Celsius is (F-32)/1.8 = Celsius.

oh another hack that I learnt from my school (in england) for multiplying 9, is to hold out both hands, then (for example) 5*9 is your number sentence, hold down your fifth finger, then the left side is the tens and the right side is your ones. since there is now 4 fingers on your left hand and 5 on your right, you would have 45. You can use this for any number lower than ten. :)

Why didn't he say about the finger method for the 9 times table.
Put both hands out
put your 1st finger down leaving 9 =1x9
2nd separates the fingers leaving 1 finger on one side and 8 on the other, meaning the answer is 18 and so
Really good one for kids to learn. Sorry if everyone knows this. After 10 you just have to add the numbers to 90, 180, 270 etc

The easiest way to convert C° to F°. You can do it in your head.

Double the number
Subtract ten percent.
Add 32.

For example, it's 10° C.
Double 10 is 20
20 - 2 is 18
18 + 32 is 50.

10°C is 50°F

Throw away fractions if you like. That makes it less precise but just as practical.
This works for negative temperatures also.
