Ski-Doo Expedition 600r vs 900ace Long Term Comparison

We have used these two snowmobiles for 3 seasons now and have 37 000km (23 000 miles) combined. Here is what we think.

I’ve been binge watching your vids and am ready for next season. I picked up an 23 expedition SE 850 last year and love it. Ordered Rok suspension for this year. The only thing I don’t see on your 600 is a pull start, I added one to my 850. Interested in your vids coming this winter!

Im looking at a new expedition and not sure which way to go. 600r / 900 ace / 900 turbo.
Will be mostly trail but some off trail, hauling wood etc.

Is there a difference in smell between the 900 and 600? Do 2 strokes still make you stink like gas or have they gotten better?

I wonder about the noise? I had a 600r 2022 and almost got depth riding it. I ordered a 2024 900 ace hoping it will be more quiet.

Thank you for the comparison. I've had excellent luck with skidoo. I'm thinking of upgrading to a expedition or skandic with a 24 " track, I use it mainly for ice fishing . Would you recommend the 900 over the 600 for towing my equipment.?

The 600 had a motor at 14, 700? Those were your words at about 3 minutes, 14 seconds into your video. If it was a blown motor that was covered by warranty, great! But saying "It Had a Motor" is a little confusing. Maybe elaborate why the motor blew (What Failed), how the warranty process went, what the warranties cover for Ski Doo and all of the parameters.

Clutch eh.. im moving away from yamaha to skidoo.... Nothing beats the Yamaha clutches. My old yammys are heavy but man reliable
