My grandmother got married at 34. She had many marriage proposals, she just didn't want any of them. She finally met my grandfather when she was riding her bike to go to school (she was working as a teacher). Her bike broke down and she asked my grandfather for help. My grandfather had seen her ride her bike daily and and liked her, so when he learned her name and surname, he went to met her father to ask for her hand. My grandfather was 28 at that time and he loved her madly even at old age.
