A catastrophic accident that changed Lexie's life forever

At just 18-years-old, Lexie, a young woman from Townsville had a truly horrific accident while enjoying her first work experience at one of the remotest spots in Australia.

Sorry Rhonda, Lexie is my daughter and I have listened to this video several times and I know the words Lexie is using and one is something I said "what the hell are you doing" when she was riding her horse but I CAN'T hear any other bad words even when she was talking about big Frank on her first ride after the accident. Definitely none from Lexie? Lexie was very upset and I think she was very brave to tell her story after having such a horrific thing happen to her at a young age. It's been a long road to recovery but on a good note, she is doing well and riding her horses, driving a car, has a great job and we are very proud of her. We will be forever grateful to the RFDS and continue to support them through donations and fundraising and thank you for supporting them too. x
