X-MAXX 8s | KRATON 6s EXB | HOSS 4x4 VXL | BASH

The Kraton suffered a bent rear axle, but survived the bash finally. As for the X-MAXX….it seems that last hit took it out. After further inspection and tear down, there were no damaged gears. The issue seems to be with the motor or ESC. After driving it a bit more, it has excessive cogging. We will be sending in the motor and ESC to Traxxas for warranty repairs. We will update everyone on what was found. The HOSS was making some crazy jumps, and tricks. The RC AWD axles seem to be surviving CRASH’s driving.

Ive got a couple 4s kratons. Awesome bashers. You should get the 4s. There pretty fast with a 15 tooth pinion over the stock 13. Great videos

Re: earplugged center diff, worked out great in my Kraton 8s! Love it! Definitely wouldn’t recommend for doing laps but great for bashing. Only problem is this thing can obviously handle more power! Definitely keeping my eyes open for a Max5/800kv combo now that we’re in deals season! 💪

Nice! I am curious about the "chipped gear" scenario about 6:40 into the vid with the Xmaxx. Insight on this? My Sledge has this issue and I have replaced all diff pinion and ring gears and lubed them up. It does this at times when going from drive to rev and vice versa, sometimes just clicking and doesn't wanna move for a bit. Motor issue?
