Never brought dewalt since i dropped a brand new one from a small stepladder and it snapped in half. It was around 15 years ago but it still put me off for life.

Xlnt  review! The reason for having a  hammer drill for me, is to make 1/4 - 5/16" holes in concrete to set Tapcons and occasionally larger holes to put in anchors for "All-Thread" or larger bolts for supports or whatever. This definitely shows it is up to that task! As a Union plumber every commercial job I've ever worked on, we used Dewalt hammer drills if the Co. was providing us tools to use. And this was before the new 20 volt shown here. I'm now retired but I still do some maintenance work for a landlord plus I have my own CBS home which requires Tapcons nearly every place I can think to put one. So I really like this drill although maybe the smaller one will be enough. Again it is great seeing a hammer drill make smaller holes in concrete. 400+ holes per battery is plenty.

Those brushless drills just keep getting better and better...Milwaukee is coming out with their 2nd Generation FUEL line shortly. I may be a  Team Red guy that has 12v and 18v FUEL tools, but you won't hear me say an unkind word about Dewalt, the Yellow team also make great tools...Thanks for another great review.

I have the Dewalt dcd995. I love it besides the chuck wanting to get stuck in the open position sometimes. Other than that it's amazing. Great review.

well i have bought mine some years ago it works very good its a wonderfull machine very strong but last month the clutch stoped working seeing the vídeo you said its an electronic clutch have to send to repair hope its not expensive . and nice vídeo mate .
