Cheryl Waters is my favorite King Gizzard band member

When Cheryl said, "welcome home" I think we all felt that.

The love shines through

Iron Lung just ticks every box for a Gizz song. It's chill and spacy, it's heavy, it's jammy, it's got catchy hooks and then throws you off the deep end in to face melting solos. They really outdid themselves on this one.

It blows my mind that these records aren't just jams and that the band can easily recreate them live 🤯

Ambrose's verse on Iron Lung was electrifying. You knew shit was about to go down with the shot of him taking the mic off the stand.

Ambrose's vocals are killer on the mid section of iron lung. Those are rock vocals. I really felt something there.

Man, I love the King Gizz KEXP sessions. We need these compiled and released as a live album.

Looking at how concentrated and calculated Cavs drumming is on this performance is mesmerizing, this man is a machine

That final verse on Magma at 29:21 is enormous - just a monumental wall of sound happening there

These guys rock! What a shame they don't release much music!

The opportunity to see these boys live at Red Rocks was just too much for me. My entire life will be downhill from that very night.

Shout out to Jason Galea for playing all the instruments

This band played 3, three-hour sets at Red Rocks this year without repeating a song, and have released an average of 3 records a year, all different themes and in many cases, genres, and always distinctly their sound (desert-psych)~

They are a tribute to what can be accomplished when an artist constantly challenges themselves and pushes the limits of not only themselves, but of society and culture- pretty cool tbh

I think Cookie is the most underrated member of the band. Every time it cuts to him the dude is fucking shredding and he’s so smooth with it

Give this band at least one Grammy, and then induct them into the Hall of Fame. They've earned it.

I am one of those who discovered KGLW through KEXP. They are now my favorite band. I can’t thank you enough for these shows. They are beyond amazing. Thank you Sheryl!
