I agree with the Alderman ! They are gentrification is moving out long time residents ! They have raised rent so high for people of color .. there are no low income home in that areas were I was raised and forced to move out over the height rent !

Definitely went too far. Just the fact that Moreno is PROUD of himself makes me sick. Regardless of his distaste for the eviction of Double Door, the property owner moved through the legal motions properly. Joe's just upset that a campaign donor was forced to leave Wicker Park.

I've seen Moreno freak out before. Outside of the Congress theater late one night after some concert ended up attracting a half dozen squad cars because of some brouhaha. Guy is a total spaz.
