As with most of the jackets I have been looking at for high high prices and by big names brands, they pretty much all are not worth the money! I am continuously blown away how these big name brands can charge 300+ for jackets and have so little care for quality control. I think most of the consumers are just buying lots of outdoor gear brands for fashion anyway now so big brands don't have to worry about the smaller % of people who actually buy gear to use it outside.

If you are in the market for a good jacket for a cheap cheap price go check out the down jackets by DECATHLON. The MT100, MT500, and MT900 are all great options. If you are outside the USA I would recommend SIMOND jackets, best value for money on the market in my opinion!
