One of the reasons that Bane is in my top 5 favorite members of Batman’s rogues gallery is because of his honor. He’s not a mustache twirling supervillain like a lot of them. He’s genuinely a man with a conscience, and while he is quite obviously a deeply troubled individual, he isn’t evil.

Seeing these monsters get destroyed makes you feel good. Like how can you target or threaten a child or worse kill one. That’s gotta be one of the most heinous things a villain could do.
