The events of the past two years have resulted in a significant loss of learning by students of all ages and backgrounds. As our public schools struggle to make up for lost time, more people are realizing that it is time to look toward other successful educational models for inspiration to improve our process. BASIS leaders Peter Bezanson and Andy Freeman join TPPF’s Erin Valdez for a livestream to discuss the BASIS educational model and how the important lessons they have learned could be used to improve academic performance in schools across Texas.

Speakers

Erin Valdez (Moderator) – Policy Director of Next Generation Texas, Texas Public Policy Foundation
Peter Bezanson, Ph.D. (Panelist) – Chief Executive Officer, BASIS.ed Texas
Andrew Freeman (Panelist) – Executive Director, BASIS Texas Charter Schools, Inc.
