Stepping Eros's Masts

115-foot staysail schooner Eros recently completed a major refit at Fairhaven Shipyards in Fairhaven, MA. While significant projects were completed, nothing approached the scale of pulling both masts and performing extensive work, including new rigging, halyards, lighting, wiring, paint, varnish and repairs to several sections of rot. Thanks to the skillful work of vendors like Fairhaven Shipyards, Baltic Boatworks and R&W Rope, and Eros's own dedicated and highly skilled crew, the masts went back just in time for her to make a quick trip down to Antigua just in time for her first charter.
