That was my problem. I would cut the hole and it was too big for the plug. I wasted a lot of money. But I’m happy to know that I need a true 50mm saw. I will give it another try this year.

Great presentation! The only thing I have questions about is the use of HFCS. It seems that there has been research about its use for honey bees that suggests it shortens the bees life by 30%. After all, the bees get sucrose from the flowers, so shouldn't that alone suggest that we should be using sucrose rather than HFCS? Not trying to tell anyone what to do, but maybe at least look into it.
