Dimash does not want to make a choice in genre of music. I love all of Dimash's music. I love that boy. I am a woman of 72 years old and I love him!

Dimash shot each character against green screen, and in concert that was projected on very black background, on stage screens made of scaffolding covered in something like thick canvas. The super black background made the e characters pop and look like holograms :)) There were also 2 glass boxes on stage with actual holograms in them, but they were life-size, or 1:1 ratio. You can see those at the feet of the big screens. The song is about 3 states of the soul, dark and somber (Black), positive and hopeful (White), and Magic within (Red), and Dimash live and pop - the human integrating all, and asserting his freedom against depression and despair, making a point that we should not stifle or forget the love and humanity in our souls in hard times, and that peace can be found within ourselves.
My favorite thing about Dimash is the fact that he has the entire toolbox to use the way he does, to express the messages that he does in songs :) Like in 'The Story of One Sky", being able to do the Tibetan "Om" chant and the Catholic choir (soprano range) in one song (plus the muslim prayer vocalise) to ilustrate hope for people of all religions to collaborate for peace.
If he didn`t have the entire toolbox, and he had to hire others to put the pieces together to present the message, it might look too fancy, elaborate and preachy.
The fact that he takes it upon himself to express all the sides, although it may seem like showboating for displaying his range, for me paradoxically it makes the message more like a humble plea, from a guy putting himself in all the shoes :)

👉 The Spanish speaking Dears have been waiting for a Dimash song in their language for a long time... and here it is.
The premiere of the song was at Dimash's 'Stranger' concert on September 23, 2022 in Almaty Central Stadium (the largest sports complex in the Republic of Kazakhstan). Dimash Qudaibergen's solo concert in Almaty sold out gathering 35000 Dears from almost 68 countries.

Dimash composed another masterpiece, an 'exquisite melodic salad' (as a dear put it) with profound lyrics.. It's a song with a wonderful, beautiful melody, in which classical and modern perfectly harmonize and blend... and Dimash sings it in quadruple duplication as a quartet with himself. What is better then one Dimash? For Dimash’s! There can never be enough of Dimash's... grandios!
Not only with his singing, but also with his videos or with his stage sets - Dimash sets new standards... just great!

The authors of the great lyrics are the Mexican Dr. Hildegard Wöhler and the singer-songwriter Regina de Ovando. The music was composed by Dimash Qudaibergen!

Now you see why Dimash earned highest marks when he received his Master's Degree in Musical Composition. He composed this piece for his millions of Spanish speaking "Dears". Dimash is a great fan of MJ's musical genre, and incorporates MJ"s style of music in most of his Pop songs. Only Dimash could do justice to bring back MJ's legacy.

Dimash is mesmerizing on stage. He is incredibly warm and interactive with the fans. I think some of my favorite performances are in his native Kazakh. They mean a lot to him and it shows. Samaltau, Daididau, Qaragym Ai for starters. There are no real high notes but they are incredible songs. Samaltau written from the prespective of a young Kazakh man being forced to fight by Russia in early 1900's. Leaving his homeland, his elderly parents to an unknown future etc. It is stunning. Both the performance from his home studio for the Tokyo Jazz Festival and from his 2021 digital which includes CGI. Traditional instruments that will send goose bumps all over.

Seen in the context of the whole concert this performance makes a whole lot more sense. The three enormous screens were there for the whole concert, in fact Dimash started the concert by dropping down from the top of the centre 70ft tall screen, for this performance three holograms which can just be seen at the edges of the stage were projected onto those screens.
The song couldn't have been performed in this format without prerecording this portion as obviously Dimash can't sing in four different ranges at the same time but it also gave him time to recover from performing The Story of One Sky which he premiered just before this.
He wrote this song especially for the Spanish speaking Dears who had been asking him for a song in Spanish for a long time. I think they were expecting a cover but Dimash hasn't done cover versions in a very long time (in fact people are now attempting to cover his songs) and so he wrote this for them and gave us little clues along the way via his Instagram.

What is my favorite vocal range and style of Dimash? ALL OF IT!!!

Dimash promised his Spanish-speaking Dears a song in their language, so he composed “El Amor En Ti” and performed it for the first time at the Almaty Concert last fall. The different personas and voices imply a philosophical conversation between states of hopelessness and despair because of the darkness of life (black) vs the hopefulness and light that comes from embracing love instead (white) which in turn engage our feelings and touch the heart (red). Dimash's live performance in the last part as a contemporary man against the giant figures which represent different human states of consciousness brings this it into an experience of life lived fully in the moment with all three states present and acknowledged and wholly integrated into the here and now.
Rather than creating cognitive dissonance by presenting opposing views, Dimash creates cognitive consonance, a state of harmony between competing emotions, beliefs and values by blending different voices, traditions, tonalities and styles (even expressed in his dress) into a gorgeous tapestry of sound and color that expresses the rich fullness of life. I was reminded of Walt Whitman’s line from the poem “Song of Myself: ‘I am large, I contain multitudes.’
Dimash does contain multitudes, and his art elevates the conflict from a two-dimensional dark vs light, good vs bad, true vs false question into a three-dimensional experience that frees us to live fully from the heart (hear how his high notes soar above and weave it together) without becoming overwhelmed by life's problems or denying the reality of life's darker aspects. Two dimensional conflicts often paralyze us with feelings of helplessness and despair and limit our ability to respond to life's storms appropriately, but when we get to a higher point of view, embrace a higher state of consciousness at the soul level by tapping into the love and peace within, we become the masters of our lives and not the victims of circumstance, and we can act with passion and confidence in the middle of the storms and, with open hearts, let our love within flow out into the world.
Dimash's stated mission, to bring unity and peace to the world through his art, is very much evident in this piece. Like in "Story of One Sky, " he is very intentional about the message that we need to accept all there is and allow all to have a voice and a presence, not to silence or disappear what we do not like or understand, in ourselves or in the outer world. The darkness is our reality as much as the light; the work of our lives is to create a harmonious whole through love that expresses our full humanity.
A shout-out to Erlan Bekchurin who arranges most of Dimash’s songs. Close friends since their teen years, Erlan is a genius in his own right, and together they make magic.
