Thanks for all the lessons, I started by myself as a graphic designer, but after a while felt quite empty inside because I wanted to learn to draw but felt I couldn't.... About 9 months ago I came across your course and today reached lesson 5. Your way of understanding the problems that we go through, and the way you explain has helped me restore my confidence again!. I really appreciate that. You are awesome! Thanks.

I was procrastinating starting this lesson as I've always had trouble drawing animals, but you nailed it and I'm so happy that it makes this much sense. Thank you so much!

This is my favorite video lesson of yours so far, there is so much solid information, and I loved how you showed photo references, and went step by step on how to construct from them. Very good job.

38:45 first you draw the scaffolding. then you just add the details. Lol that jump reminded me of that spongebob draw a circle episode

As someone who has been drawing anime hair for years, fur seems to come pretty naturally. I remember drawing pages and pages of different shapes that hair could clump into, just to get that hairstyle right... it's been coming in quite handy now that i'm drawing fur more.

The insanity of being all the way here is so surreal to myself I’ve gotten further than I could’ve imagined prior to this

Hey man, appreciate all your hard work creating these videos! I love drawabox, but having someone explain via video is significantly more helpful. Thanks a lot! Subbed!

I have to 100% agree to what you said about randomnis. Ive been into portrait drawing for quiet some time now and there where instances where I was really fed up with a piece and just wanted to get done with it. Thats why I started speeding up my decisions and mark making to the point where I wasnt consciously thinking about what I am doing anymore. I randomly filled in shapes in the hope to at some abstract quality to the otherwise realistic drawing.

The result: I have ruined ervery single peace in wich I realied on randomnis and threw hours of work out of the window.
