Murder trial of disgraced South Carolina attorney Alex Murdaugh is underway

Murdaugh's wife and son were found shot to death at one of the family's properties back in 2021. Apart from this, Murdaugh is also facing almost 100 charges related to alleged financial crimes. It's not just a murder trial but also a legal dynasty that crumbled. Prosecutors claim the murders were committed to allegedly prevent Murdaugh's financial crimes from coming to light. Murdaugh has pleaded not guilty to two counts of murder.
