2.4s is insane of a difference. They say that 10kg is worth about 0.3s per lap. the 2023 car could carry a 2nd passenger and it would do the same lap time

If not for Alonso's bad oversteer in the final corner, the car is easily 1 - 1.5 tenths faster than Q3 timing. It will put this year's car at a comfortable 2.5 seconds faster than last year

You can really see how much faster the 2023 car is getting off the corner, and it seems like it carry's the speed much better in the mid corner as well.
