Nice review. Cool to hear about other families who own this toy. Our 5 year old daughter also asked and asked for this for Christmas. She loves it, and still takes care of "mama" and her babies as pets. I purchased it very early and found a 'deal, ' meaning it was still expensive but significantly less so.

Thank you for telling us the mama makes a noise when being fed/patted. That was not in the instructions

Does the baby dispenser make a noise when it opens? Do you hear anything when the baby drops from the ceiling? I was just thinking if it did. Wouldn’t that spoil the imaginative element of the toy?

Thank you so much for this review!!! so helpful:-) my daughter is 8 years old and she doesn't want anything else for Christmas just this-they do rainbow edition now! so I guess it wont serve her for long but still.... if she dreams about ;-) no mention we have a real guinea pig but my daughter is just crazy about anything guinea pig themed....:-) ;-)
