OK 3 things.

1) They must had a VERY good sleep. They where out like logs to peacefully sleep though a train horn.

2) Homer has hella good balance and mobility to climb out of car being pushed by a train and go get snacks.

3) That is one strong train conductor to dislodge a car from the front of a moving train with a long pole.

This needs to be shown in driver’s Ed classes. You can NEVER beat a train NOR SHOULD you try to beat a train OR stop on the tracks.
