What a fantastic movie !! Talking to the banker who draws his gun slowly, the bandit says, "You are getting slower as you get older. If you get too slow, you ain't gonna get much older" Loved it.

Watched this last night. What a joy. Great print. And I love the brother vs brother; uncle vs nephew theme. Movie clips along and has a sturdy performance from James Brown. Starting to wonder if some auteur theory work needs to be done on the great Edward L. Cahn. Eleven films between 1960-61. A quick worker, but I really like his B films, especially his noirs.

Another WESTERN movie filmed at the legendary IVERSONS Movie Ranch in Chatsworth California... the NW corner of the San Fernando Valley and Hollywood's 30 mile Studio Zone.

I produced a documentary on IVERSONS in 1995, had its premiere at the ranch house attended by those who worked there on some of the 3, 000 movies and TV shows.

More westerns have been shot at IVERSONS than any other place on earth... war films, period pictures, matinee serials, it was the place where Duke Wayne steps aboard a certain STAGECOACH... the place where TV's LONE RANGER reared-up his horse each week... every TV western has filmed here on its 500 acres.

This movie is 80% IVERSONS!

Boyd Morgan? I had a friend with that name. He drove over the road for Packaging Corporation of America until he passed over 35 years ago. He was quite a character!

THESE WESTERNS FROM THE LATE 40', 50'S, 60'S AND LATE 70'S WERE THE BEST AS WELL AS SERIES LIKE BONANZA, GUNSMOKE, CHEYENNE, HAVE GUN WILL TRAVEL, BRONCO AND SUGAR FOOT AMONG OTHERS.

As good as any episode of Bonanza and better than most. Walter Coy was clearly enjoying his role as the baddy.
