This AOE2 build order for the goths includes a very fast scout rush before progressing in to the goths meme unit, the huskarl. great against archers and ripping down buildings!

This aoe2 goths build order takes advantage of the new civ bonus that the goths get where their hunt lasts 20% longer. this is around an extra 200 food if you take all 3 deer. the increased gather rate from hunt compared to berries or sheep make it affordable to reach the feudal age with the same timing as you would with a normal 18 pop scout rush build order, however this has an extra villager to replace the research time that loom would normally take. this aoe2 goths build order gives you so much food that you can easily invest in to a lot of scouts and still reach the castle age in a good time. in this aoe2 goths build order we actually make 7 scouts and start building a castle at 19:45.

I'd suggest getting loom very early as it reduces the possible damage by the boar. You won't loose any time either

I never executed a good scout rush before I found this build. The first two games I used this at 940 ELO were insane. The scouts got huge value, and finishing the game with longswords and Huskarls was the cherry on top. They may nerf Goths if this catches on. The only flaw is you don’t build an archery range for skirmishers. Either way you earned a new member.

Sounds great, but it seems there is a lot of room to breathe for the opponent between the timing of the scouts and the huscarls.

Goths are actually pretty decent now. The extra hunt + a villager extra pretty early on helps a lot. You can make just 2-3 scouts and try do some damage and go for a fast castle time. I like to do only max 3 scouts and wall up because you really want to get to castle age fast and most opponents gets distracted enough with the scouts that they leave you pretty much unharmed. In castle i either get some knights if im up much faster to wipe their archers out if needed and/or go for 2 more tc and a castle relatively early, siege workshop if needed and go defensive will booming. If your opponent cant dmg you the infamous goth spam will kill them in late castle/imp, they have to attack you because if both just boom it favors the goth player even if they boom a bit better.

You could have also picked up the two infantry armour upgrades (the first one during transition to Castle Age) and the second one right after hitting Castle. That would make your Huskarls even stronger.

Longsword mixed with halbs + forward siege as opposed to castle might end game quicker.

just curious. is it safe to say if we were in an actual game, if pushing deer for this build could hinder the ability to actually scout the enemy in fog of war. so in theory if you successfully completed this build order that youd still have to play a bit of rng and lose a few seconds to find enemy base. but perhaps to send the starter + 2 scout towards each corner of the map until you find them then mobilize constant scouts to their wood lines. im still unsure of cases of push deer vs scouting info. technically if the enemy lamed your deers or scouted your info, if theyre ready with a few pikes that could render your rush less useful too. what would you say is more important lol open maps no arena. scouting enemy vs push deer?

I've got a fast castle into siege/calv rush on arena but I'm stuck on how to make it quicker. Khmer already are able to drop off deer meat in the field by dropping a farm on-site but that has only saved me 30 secs at most lol any ideas?

If you ask a twitch subscribe u can easily get for your work but1 $ for every build order is too much man if u sell at 50$ to 5 people but 2$ u can sell it to 1000 with u mods
