Why I BUILT My Camper Van - DIY vs. Professional Builds

Should you go with a DIY self build or a professional / prebuilt camper van?

You’re amazing, I grew up in the 70’s when everyone owned or knew someone with a conversion van. This takes me back to so many road trips, thanks for the memories. You’re wise not to have any animals. Dogs can unexpectedly bark to alarm people that you’re in there, they also may need to go out in the middle of the night when you need to be stealthy. Enjoy the ride, you’ll have these memories and fun stories for the rest of your life. That’s the ole hippie in me talking, now the mom in me is freaked out and worried about you lol. Stay safe and call home 3 times every single day 😊.

seems like it turned out pretty decent. the interesting thing about building stuff is most of us have no idea what we're doing but end up really surprising ourselves with the results we can achieve if we just get in there and do it.

Most diy Builds these days are BETTER than so called “ Pro shops “. Depending on the shop of course. With Youtube increasing quality of diy builders exceeding some pro shops that do ghetto builds.
