Autogenous vaccines: Use cases and role in bacterial resistance transmission to poultry progeny

In this Session of our AMR Series, we discuss the role of autogenous vaccines in transmitting bacterial resistances to poultry offspring. The discussion centre around commercial vs autogenous vaccines, the production of autogenous vaccines and the identification of resistant bacteria.

Our speakers - Dr Heike Bigmore (Vaxxinova) and Dr Twan van Gerwe (EW Nutrition) - focus on vaccines as part of ABR programs, as well as strategies against vertically transmitted pathogens, maternal antibodies, on-site epidemiological units, and adapting to emerging threats.
