I love Yahoo Finance interviews vs. CNBC (aside from Becky Quick's solo interviews) because they actually let the person talk- keep it up

Ray Dalio, like other very smart hedge fund managers, will tell you the truth only to a point. If they told you the extent and full truth of our brewing financial crisis, everyone would run for the hills, thus facilitating and causing the epic crash that is coming.

Ray dalio has a great hedge portfolio and so much experience. See his book on big debt crisis. Always good to hedge with gold silver as well as plenty of bonds for defense. 👍 I’ve been stacking physical silver for a while and ramped it up a lot on my youtube channel the last year. Ready for anything.

I’ve often times wondered - why don’t billionaire hedge fund managers who are obviously so intelligent and successful, run the country or the Fed or the Treasury? Ever wondered about that? Wouldn’t almost all the economic problems be at least tackled well?

Yeah the economy is so great my fully employed friends cant afford houses and 7 million americans are 3 months late on there car payments. What was the stat on americans who stopped paying their student loans about a year ago? 1 million a year? My uber driver was in her 30s, currently in school again with over 100k in student loan debt.

I think quite a lot saw those patterns. The question is timing. Some people got into the trade too early. And got stopped out. Is timing sufficiently clear in the reading or different people will come away with different interpretations?

Mr. Dalio, how do we get significant and consistent wage growth to allow for saving through debt crises?

Really, he called the debt crisis in 2008?! Can someone please point me to any videos where he called the crisis?

Ray Dalio knows a lot, and he is very willing to share his knowledge, but unfortunately, there is room for Ray Dalio to be a better speaker and a better explainer. I'm not sure what is wrong with his diction. His voice wobbles and he has difficulty saying a complete sentence straight through without pausing, which disrupts the hearer's thought process. While he pauses in the middle of a sentence he doesn't pause between sentences to allow the audience time to digest what he had just said before going to the next sentence. But we must be grateful for his sharing and sincerity. Must read his book to get what he is trying to convey.
