Impressive from Mugu! I always think Sabalenka is going to murder her opponent, and she usually does, but the great ones, like Serena or Garbine, know how to take her down. Happy for Mugu, but want to see Aryna break through to the top. She is such a big talent.

I feel like at the start of this decade, rivalries are starting to form in WTA like this one and Osaka-Muguruza. Hopefully, we see more rivalries form in this decade because that's what I miss about WTA lmao

Modern Tennis is all about: 1. Good serve placement, 2. Great cross court shots followed by down the line shots. In other words open the court with quality CC shot and close it with DTL shot. Movement around the court is another weapon.

Sabalenka is a good player, but she really started to unravel emotionally in that last set. Congratulations to Mugu who's been playing some wonderful tennis recently.

Muguruza is so smart ...she knews that sabalenka could not play at that level more then 45min or 1hour max so she kept swinging intel she controlled the match....she really know how to use her eneregy at the right time.

I always have the impression Garbiñe has a somewhat cold personality on-court but actually she is very sweet when answering post-match questions in Spanish, it was a nice surprise. Go Garbiñe!

Garbiñe is imo the best returner at the moment. It's close with Azarenka, but her stance is even more intimidating. She was putting so much pressure both on Swiatek and Sabalenka's serves.
