The Florida woman accused of suffocating her boyfriend to death is set to appear in court on Tuesday for a motions hearing. Sarah Boone allegedly killed Jorge Torres Jr. by zipping him up in a suitcase and leaving him inside to die after a night of drinking at her house in 2020. Boone, who briefly represented herself, retained a new defense attorney after going through eight other attorneys.

I’m so proud of Judge Kraynick! He said the date is the date, and he stuck to it. I think this attorney was under the delusion that he would get a continuance. Why on earth would anybody do this to themselves?
