You're claiming to be the gem expert and you don't even know that the gia years ago determined that the Ethiopian opal is more stable and more likely to survive a 4-ft drop on a hard surface vs Australian .

Amazing! What a selection. I'd like to see some jewelry made with some of these gemstones. The 45.00 a carat tray. Had some larger ones that could be made into nice pendants. I like the combination of diamonds and opals in jewelry. What a kind and generous dealer!!

I bought one and it came covered in some smelly oil, maybe glycerine. I wiped it away with a cloth under room water temperature but right when it dried there was cracks everywhere. I'm so dissappointed it didn't come untreated.

Can you do a video on why it costs so much to have a stone cut? There are tourist mines you can mine your own amethyst, topaz, sapphire, etc. But getting the $40 raw crystal cut is $3, 000. Why?

If stones aren't gem or museum quality you tend to dismiss them. If they were as worthless as you repeatedly suggest, why do so many dealers carry them? Not everyone is quality obsessed the way you and I are.
