There's something about the live version of Clean, it always sounds 100x more deep and emotional

What I love about this song is the rain is represented as making someone pure something clean, like reinventing....while in most songs rainy days represented sadness which is why I couldn't connect much to those song...Where I come from rains bring life to earth..everthing turns pure again.

Clean from the rep tour is just beautiful. The performance is perfect. It doesn't need fireworks, a massive band, choreography, big fancy screens, an extravagent costume but it her best perfomance she has done, it captures emotion, love, and the beauty that music holds that words can't. This performance can't be improved.

She’s a master songwriter and these are some of my favorite lyrics she’s ever written

I love this one much more than TV. This is how it should sound. Raw. The OG, or this.

I can’t stop myself from watching it over and over again. It’s so soothing with only the piano and slowed. I stop writing this to watching this. I don’t know how I could live without our amazing Taylor Swift I love this song

I don't know why, but this performance of clean always feels so much more raw and emotional than the others.

So much artistic depth. It is great that Taylor Swift is now recognised as one of the great song writers and story tellers.

The drought was the very worst
(Oh-oh, oh-oh)
When the flowers that we'd grown together died of thirst
It was months and months of back and forth
(Oh-oh, oh-oh)
You're still all over me
Like a wine-stained dress I can't wear anymore
Hung my head as I lost the war
And the sky turned black like a perfect storm
Rain came pouring down
When I was drowning, that's when I could finally breathe
And by morning
Gone was any trace of you, I think I am finally clean
(Oh, oh, oh, oh)

This was the clip that made me love her. I did a deep dive a few years ago after hearing this version. It was beautiful and fucking brilliant. When you know you know and you just have to let people figure her out on their own. She has a good dozen songs that I frankly detest BUT, it's the ones like this that make me love her.

I can't believe how she can just sing one song after another without taking a break unbelievable

I can’t stop listening to this. This piano version is absolutely exquisite. I far prefer it to the original studio version’s sound.

The surprising thing about becoming a Taylor Swift fan post-2020 is the incredible volume of great songs she has written. Every song is great from start to finish. So impressive. So many songs

This, and Welcome to NY, were our surprise songs N3 at MetLife and she had already sung it. We all died dead.
