Fresh vs Healed Tattoo | Day to Day Healing Process

In this video I tried to give day to day footage, including close ups, of a healing thigh tattoo. Not all tattoos heal at the same speed but this is the typical process for me.

You are right, this tattoo did look darker than the other one, after it healed, I prefer healing with saniderm because of the kind of work I do. I left my like, cheers.

I’ve been watching so many of these videos to be very prepared and what signs to notice a possible problem once I get a tattoo so I can go see the tattoo artist (my 18th birthday is later this year and getting a tattoo is the first thing I do). Your tattoo is absolutely beautiful by the way ❤️

i’m a month into having my new thigh tattoo and i agree what you said about the lines bleeding a bit, for me i think it’s maybe because of some stretch marks in that area but over all i love it!

I kept reading everywhere that it should be healed after a month but I just made a month and my tat is still shiny and a little scaly in some areas. It’s good to know that it may just need more time to heal. I’m def gonna give it another month now dope vid👏🏾.

Informative video!
Chest and shoulders were a breeze. Just got my inner forearms done. Seems like it's taking longer to heal. First tat that hasn't leaked much ink and they are packed with color. Still stings on day 3 but the redness and swelling are finally going down.

I got my 13th tattoo done last monday, it was in my spine... 12 inches... i have my whole stomach, chest, and thighs tatted... the tattoo artist always told me she does NOT RECOMMEND saniderm because sweat gets trapped, and also she said she didnt recommend A&D or any kind of ointment on it. She said the least cream u put on it the better. And if its really dry, use tattoo especialized balms... Ive been following these methods and sll my tattoos have healed beautifully 🥰🥰 im on day 5 for my back tattoo and its still thick, I also did a small pink one on my thigh that one is on day 6 and it is FULLY HEALED because i have been applying her Balm she recommended me...

Your tattoo is beautiful, and you did nothing to cause those line blowouts. I'm sure your artist is kind and did the best they could, but that is from improperly applying ink to a sensitive area of the body.

Update:
Just looked her up, she is a beautiful artist, but there are a lot of blowouts in her tattoos 😬
