Michael Jackson - Top 30 songs (Fans Choice) 2016 | (GMJHD)

This is NOT a Michael Jackson song countdown/top based on the actual Michael Jackson song popularity, nor my favorite Michael Jackson song countdown.

What I did is, I made a video trailer where in the comments Michael Jackson fans could vote for their 5 favorite Michael Jackson songs as well as they could vote by tweeting me the song picks.
So after combining all the votes, this is the result :)

The years shown in the video are years when the Michael Jackson songs (that were singles) came out, not when they were put on the Michael Jackson album or when they were recorded. Although the years for the Michael Jackson songs that weren't singles are years when they were put on the album, meaning when the Michael Jackson album came out.

Since MJ had his skin issue, media attack toward him started. A lot of his songs after 1990 were underrated. MJ's Dangeous Album is my favorite. But Thriller and Bad remain best selling Albums. I would think of the following factors: lack of promotion in US after MJ and Sony had disagreement; Somebody in power were jealous and tried to bring MJ down; A lot of people do not focus on his music and only found his songs after his death and by this time, people can listen to his songs for free in youtube.

It's very remarkable that in both editions almost none of his early hits, not even Don't Stop 'Till You Get Enough and Rock With You, made it to the list

In 2015, Bad was the most Popular Album with 7 songs on the list, just one song ahead of Thriller, Dangerous and History
This year Bad had 7 songs on there again, this time just to be beaten by Dangerous with 8 songs!
