Credit to Scott for taking a story that was admittedly getting really confusing, and sometimes possibly even inconsistent, and giving a satisfying ending that ties everything together...answering just enough to provide a good conclusion, but still leaving some lingering questions.

This is the ending we wanted. Answers, and a final, true ending. We thought fnaf3 was the ending, and SL and fnaf 4 was more info. But this, this is the ending. We get to finally know the real story of the dead children and may their spirits rest in game.

The emotion and nostalgia that this ending gives me is Especially when there was screenshots/clips of FNaF 1 & I remember what it was like being seven years old and new to this game back in 2014... What an emotional ride it has been. And we still have the new VR game, the movie, and a collection of books with side stories coming along! We're not done yet, guys!

Heres my explanation:

In this ending, the secret purpose of rounding all the animatronics up there is revealed, and they are all burned to a crisp.
However, while that may seem like a simple ending, there is more hidden to it.

At the end of the last night, Baby says that they were all rounded up there for a "gift". However, Cassette Man cuts
Baby's communications, and reveals her true name was Elizabeth, giving a name to William Aftons daughter.
He says that they are not here to receive a gift, and that they were not called by the man they assume, but they were called.
The man Elizabeth assumes called everyone was her father, William Afton, but it was not. They were lured into a labyrinth
with no exit, a maze with no prize. They endlessly search and lust for blood, but they will never find anything.

Next, Cassette Man mentions that an escape from the fire was planned for you, but he says he thinks you'd prefer staying
there. He also mentions he will be staying too, and he is nearby. This means that Cassette Man most likely knows you
personally, or has gotten to know you, and assumes from his experiences with you. This leads me to believe that you are playing as Michael Afton, the worn out husk that Ennard left behind.
But, Im not 100% on that, so dont take it as fact.

He also mentioned that the job wasn't intended for you, but for someone else. I can't find any clues as to who the job
was supposed to be given to, but nonetheless you fulfilled the plan.

He says that nothing will be remembered, and the tragedy can finally end, like every tragedy should.

Next, Cassette Man talks about the animatronics, calling them "monsters". He tells them to be still and calm, and to give up
their spirits. This means that he's telling the suits to kick out the spirits controlling them, so they can be free.
He says that the spirits will find peace, and maybe more beyond bloodlust and vengeance.

Cassette Man then talks about a certain animatronic-- presumably Springtrap judging by when the picture of him burning appears-- as soon as he starts talking about it.
He tells him that the deepest pit of hell has opened up to swallow him, and wishes him a dark farewell.
The reason Cassette Man does not want him to find peace is most likely because his identity is William Afton.
Because of this interaction towards William, It seems safe to assume Cassette Man might be Henry.
This is further enforced as Cassette Man calls William "friend", likely suggesting they had past experience, namely working together in business.

Now, time to explain why Henry might have a grudge against William.
Cassette Man speaks about his daughter, saying that it was only natural for her to come here.
He talks about how his daughter was "shut out" and wasn't lifted in someones arms like she lifted others in hers.
While he talks about this, pictures of the diner minigame where you could see a crying child waiting outside pop up, suggesting the crying child is Cassette Mans daughter.
Next, a picture of a child-- presumably dead, laying in a dark alleyway, forgotten.
Cassette Man asks what became of you-- a rhetorical question. What became of her was the Puppet.
He says that he knew his daughter wouldn't be content to dissapear, and that he couldn't save her then, so he's going to save her now-- by freeing her spirit and letting her be free when the smoke clears.
Cassette Man mentioned earlier that her daughter lifted others in her arms, and eventually a picture of the Puppet minigame "Give Gifts, Give Life" appears, enforcing the fact his daughter only wanted to help others.
Then he says that its time to rest, for his daughter and for the ones she carried in her arms, enforcing the fact he wants them to rest and find peace.
The last thing he says is that it ends for all of us, and the communication ends.

Fazbear Entertainment is no longer a thing, its unclear whether or not you survived the fire (although its likely you died)
and the story ends.

TL;DR: You and cassette man worked together to burn down the place, and free all the souls except for William/Springtrap who Henry wants to burn in hell, because Williams first victim was his daughter

Five Nights at Freddy's will be held in the special place in the hearts of the fans. At least, in my heart

FNaF is a scary game but the storyline of the game is very sad
The poor kids being restless spirits possessing animatronics just to get revenge on a person who killed them

I pray that if the games continue, they leave this whole saga behind. This was a good end

Been 4 years and this ending is still the best. Henry's speech is so good I can't 😭

This is actually really touching. That dialogue was just so peaceful, it puts everything to a close, and it does so without regret or remorse, except for those who deserve that regret. Everything just fits, and it does so happily and sadly at the same time. The part with the puppet in both this ending and the minigame just was so sad, while getting the ending you wanted was peaceful, and happy...

Okay I never thought I would say that but I thought.... well...

I thought this was a beautiful ending. To all those begging for more I feel so sorry for you, that you couldn't get peace from this game. While the games weren't that good, Scott knows how to tell a pretty fucking good story.

I don't know what else to say really, but this. This should be the end, no more FNAF. Don't ruin something as good as this by having a random follow up.
