It’s not about money saving per say. The water will keep hotter for longer, it will come out hot in less time at the tap. It also stops condensation on cold pipes. It is very useful to have insulation, also it does not cost much. Insulating the pipes is the difference between a pro and a diyer. There are better tools and better insulation than the ones shown here, and of course the cost more and have better results, but this is far better than no insulation.
