I don't think we are getting spoiled, we just want to be treated like human beings. Look at how the OCG is treated vs how the TCG is treated and it's night and day.

The problem is if Konami makes good products, people will want more good products? Disagree.

Yugioh meta is so stupid expensive, if you don't make budget semi-competitive products, you'll never onboard new or returning players, and the game dies quicker.

Frankly, those who complain about bad investments are either mad they can't gouge, or just lazy investors. Fresh of the press proves this.

Structure decks show that the larger market wants contained value, and consumers want certainty of price = play. Ocg rarities and distribution have been proven with all the rarity sets here. What's Konami's best product? The accessible ones. Keep chase rarities but distribute cards. Stampede is reprinting Mulcharmy Fool wuss so...

The faster Konami gets the investor/collectors gone, the healthier their product and game will be, and they still have massive problems with that solved, but I've never seen so many at my locals saying that they are hanging up their skates.

“Don’t make cheap stuff competitive, it will make the players spoiled.” Bruh….

Only being spoiled when compared to the TCG’s current treatment. Which is bad.

Base cards to play a deck should be super affordable. Putting generic powerful cards in a set as well as chase cards is what should sell the booster boxes and tins. It should never cost an arm and a leg just to play a base level deck.

Overall bad take on this one Sparkman. Asking to play a meta deck for (at minimum) less than $500 is not unreasonable at all. Correct me if I’m wrong but there’s not a single deck in Pokemon that cost that much to play.

I don't think it will be a mistake, it'll be a great opportunity to play the new and improve Blue Eyes deck and it has been a long time since we finally going to get a new structure deck.

Respectfully sir, I couldn’t disagree more on pretty much all of what you said. The Pokémon TCG offers great prizing, affordable structure decks that are competitive and have staples, and have almost every card in a multiple rarities keeping cost down. Yugioh on the other hand people have to spend an arm and a legs to be meta relevant.

It’s not being spoiled for wanting affordable options in the game. Products like this will bring people back or into the game. If they keep their current structure no one will want to come in the game if they have to drop 500 bucks to play.

I think Konami is realizing this too. That’s why we’re seeing Fuwaross in stampede, that’s why S:P was in bonanza. If the best prize for winning at the highest level is an air fryer, switch, or whatever, then who in their right mind would want to enter in this game?

We should be expecting more and communicating that with our money. That’s why I only buy singles and won’t buy sealed product until they change their structure to something like the OCG. That’s why I did buy sealed for rarity collections to communicate that I’m only willing to buy product that is healthy for the player base

spoiled?
mandatory staples: highest rarety only, super expensive on 2ndary market. new max C 150 each on the 2ndary market
before a 7 card engine: 350 on the 2ndary market.
new deck 0 to finished, 600 to 1200 on the 2ndary market.
how is asking for a bone being spioled?

at this piont, you can't call not getting quality toys cheap getting spioled, as having that is now a godsend, and has been for years in the tcg.
when the ocg gets all the good staples within 1 year in structures, and even staples in 3 rarety's on release in the same booster, to keeep the game afordible for it's player base.
when tcg makes a staple common into a super/ultra/quater only, and fills the lower rarety spots with useless packfiller.

The structure deck is definitely for budget players we will def see a lot of new players at YCS

L video. Its not being "spoiled" to want to know what we're paying for, as opposed to buying physical loot boxes over and over again where its random and the odds are stacked so far against you that you probably have to pay hundreds of dollars on sealed product to get what you actually want.

Blue Eyes is Konami's last hope to bring back players. If this doesn't work. Nothing else will.

That is why is such a great prduct. This is konami begging for players attention.

Garbage take. The community should be spoiled and ask for more. And konami should find a way to meet them in the middle. If anything, people should stop paying until good products are the expectation, not the exception.

No one invests in sets to build decks anyway? Structure Decks exist to offer new players a way in or older players a new cheap entry to a deck. Has nothing to do with set investment.

Structure decks could possibly be phased out since konami is too busy selling us bulk with all these rarity collections lmao. It's a shame, I should have gotten more structure decks! I only got 3 of them to collect but not to play. The pre-orders were $7.99 each but they're sold out by now.

You only think your getting spoiled because Konami TCG has been treating you guys like SHIT for years now. In the OCG, this is just EXPECTED. We just had 2 Ignition Decks for AE OCG that contains common print Maxx-C, Ash, Imperm, Called By, and Droplets. Another product with insane Value. The question is, why are you guys in the TCG not even recognising how much you're getting screwed?

for investors it will be a mistake for players not so much screw onvestors.
