Finally an Argentine Tango that looks like tango, the music, the steps, and everything seem so smoothly. They always do a washed ballroom when they dance Argentine tango in dwts and choose music that ain’t right. This was truly impressive and representative

They said he didn’t hardly dance. Well he had to keep a frame and all those moves he was there for her is harder than dancing. If he would have lost his frame it would have shown for sure cause she was 🔥. I think my opinion they deserved better and they both did a wonderful job because wow. My favorite dance of the whole night:

This dance was full of moments they should be proud they pulled off. They had a good run and I’ll miss watching them. 💜 Tango is all about balance between 2 bodies— it involves connecting the bodies through “walking” techniques in a close embrace (head, chest, center connection). Traditional methods for tango cannot be done with this couple. I feel like people are not fully comprehending what the argentine tango requires (& the other dances for this show). At the end of the day they are getting judged and they have to hit the areas they can realistically do well at and Dani is really smart with this. If people expect him to do ganchos or boleos when even the basic steps can throw off their balance, they clearly do not understand how the height makes this impossible. I think people also need to remember there is only so much they can do without him hunching or bending over and risking the form/frame as well.
