If Cong once manages to win in K'taka, that intent % will swing by around 4-5% in favour of Congress and BJP will lose. I am estimating Cong will in 14 seats, BJP 12-13, JD(S) 1-2. Yes, BJP will still manage to bag 12-13 seats because of Modi's face but Cong has a good organisation in K'taka + Cong president belongs from K'taka and I think caste equation will be in favour of Cong. Kuruba, Vokkaliga, SC, ST, Muslim will favour Cong.

a) Women across all income, religion, caste segments may have voted for BJP in larger nos as in UP 2022, for the same reasons
b) Vokkaligas have partly shifted from JDS to BJP
c) Quite a few Muslims (who vote for JDS) have shifted from JDS to CongI to assist Cong to win this time
d) Cong has not succeeded in taking away many Lingayats from BJP
e) Cong may have alienated many with 2 stupid decisions: (1) Talk about corruption when they themselves are champions of corruption and (2) vilified Bajrang Dal and equated them to PFI !
